Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: YES

The telnet exploit is only applicable to 10.2.x, not 10.3. When the 10.2 update is applied, it says that it modifies Help Viewer and Terminal. The 10.3 only modifies Terminal. Stop scaring people with misinformation. Yeah, sure maybe Apple should have fixed it in February, but all in all Apple has been very good about updates, so I'm going to give them a break because their track record is pretty good.

Update Information - ErickWong

Wrong, the telnet exploit is completely unrelated to this Security Update. Panther was and still is vulnerable, and I can only assume that Jaguar is as well since it clearly hasn't been fixed on Panther. However it is not nearly as serious as the malware: exploit that is every bit as critical as the HelpViewer problem, and harder to fix.
