The 4.0.x releases from LimeWire have been great. Big improvement over 3.x.x. The interface is more responsive and results are better than ever. Finally looks like a polished product. For those who are tempted to complain that the application is still too slow, I'd like to point out that LimeWire has a very complex task to do. It has to keep track of a bunch of upload connections, a bunch of download connections, a bunch of search connections, and display data on most of them in real time. On top of that it has to deal with user interaction, sorting/grouping results, and actually downloading/uploading files. LimeWire is probably doing more work on average than any other application on your system (of course there are exceptions, but for the most part this is true).
