As a p/t WinXP user, one of the best Windows file management tools is Total Commander. One of the things I missed on OSX is something that was similar to TC. I've tried Pathfinder, MacExplorer and the like and while all are good, they just didn't function like TC.
Well now comes Disk Order, and it's terrific. This is probably one of the best file management tools I've used on the Mac. You can view your files and drives in side-by-side finder panes. Moving files, copying and just basic file management become a snap. The new 0.9.3 version has enhancements to the interface that just add to the functionality. Disk Order also comes with built-in CD-burning and zip archiving functions as well, along with a file viewer for photos, etc.
If I have any criticism of Disk Order, it's the program icon, which is terrible. It's a flat 2-D representation of a disk platter with reader arm in black and white that just dull, dull, dull.
Other than the boring program icon, this is a must have app for any Mac user!
