Folks writing large technical reports have the same problems "creative" writers do - while working on one part they need fast access to others - they want to make notes and reminders, they're not entirely certain of the flow of the document while they prepare parts of it. I tend to work on a part in full screen mode and pop back to the normal window to do all the rest - notes, reminders, references, etc. This is the perfect tool for that. Now that a TEX export has been added, I'd like to do equations with this tool too, but unfortunately, at the end of the process, a Word document is almost always required.
