Product Platform: WinNT,Win95,Win98,WinME,WinXP,Win2k

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: YES

Dont let the grumbling of a few specialists mislead you. This is one of the truely GREAT pieces of software available. I have used it for over three years and it is still the handiest, most user friendly viewer out there. For the average home user it is simply the best.

Great stuff McGee ... ! - dwpenn

I agree, but I found something "XNVIEW" that surpasses it even though I was satisfied and not looking. It's also free, but it raises the bar on the capabilities and the performance. I particularly liked it when scrolling divergent sized photos it resizes them to the same Windowed view rather than leaving you to zoom for it to fit at it's optimum. Both are excellent, and both apparently are still being refined. I don't know which horse will win the race but for now I'm jumping on this one and telling my friends. Dean

It used a little more RAM to display the same large photo in my test, but it also gave me a full field of view in the first window off the get-go, whereas Irfan can be tweaked but tends to leave you at a first view you cant live with. I also like the many built-in choices you can carry out without leaving for another application.
