NEED SOME HELP...
Looking in iTunes' Radio listing, I only see the "KCRW Simulcast" under Public radio for National Public Radio (NPR).
I want to record into RadioRecorder a couple of programs that I often miss because their broadcast times aren't convenient. These are "This American Life" and "All Things Considered."
So I went to www.kcrw.org and found the broadcast schedule, but this is where it is confusing... How do I find the specific URL for the broadcast I want? Here's what I THINK is the URL for This American Life, which is broadcast on Saturday from 11:00 AM to 12:00:
http://www.kcrw.com/pls/kcrwsimulcast.pls
Questions:
- Is the iTunes list of public radio internet broadcasts all that are available?
- Do I use the "split recording into songs..." option?
- What option do I use under the "Shoutcast language" drop-down menu?
And most importantly...
- How do I know if I have the right URL for the program I am interested in?
I tried to contact the author of RadioRecorder, but there isn't an email address, and he is not listed in the directory of the university he lists from his website.
Any help will be appreciated!

The best place for finding NPR stations web casting your favorite programs ishttp://www.publicradiofan.com/
You can see whats on now, or search by program name. It will lists the broadcast times in your time zone.

The easiest way is to play the radio station in iTunes first and then drag th e track into RadioRecorder. This way you don't have to enter URL yourself. There are many more sources for streaming radio. Check www.shoutcast.com or search google :-)
