FinalDraft also has what would charitably be called an annoying and intrusive licensing scheme if it actually worked.

This upgrade requires you enter your customer number before downloading. Using a form on their site, I requested a copy of my customer number. When it arrived, I entered it into the download form. It didn't work.

What the h***? They gave me an invalid customer number?

As an update, FinalDraft got back to me (w/in 72 hours). And now, for reasons unknown, the customer number number works. Oh well.

But there you have it. I'm updated and back to work.
