m-audio does not have forums on their site.

there is a reason. their drivers are unreliable and highly incompatible.

absolutely refuse to provide any documentation nor do they accept returns.

if you value the stability of your computer, stay clear. stay well clear.

very bad experience - firewire8008

Oh, I am not alone! Either, the owners of this product (M-audio's Firewire 410) are keeping their suffering to themselves, or the product has not sold to many Apple customers doing pro-semi-pro audio. Nothing but driver issues, and no resolutions after countless months on the market. With this kind of product support, what can anyone expect with any M-audio product except misery. This has been a nightmare experience, and I fully support your claims.

their drivers... - matt68000

Maybe for this firewire product but I have an M-audio Sonica Theater (5.1 USB sound card) on my 20" iMac and it has worked flawlessly. I'm very impressed with their speaker setup application and driver. It also handles sound input with amazing quality. I'm not astro-turfing for M-audio, just very happy with my suround sound system.
