really the comments I have read here are frightening. But, please, developer, go on, since we Mac OSX people are in great need of good OCR software. Omnipage is too expensive, and I am using another commercial one which is simply awful. Go on with your efforts, please.

Why don't you try ReadIris if you can't get this one to work? The current version is MUCH better than in the past. (I haven't downloaded this because I find ReadIris to be quite good.)
