Launchbar 3 uses something like 40 megs of real memory after being open for days, but launchbar 4 starts off at 50 megs and then increases to 80 or more as it is left open. I leave my computer on for weeks at a time and I'm concerned that this version will just keep acruing more ram from my system and slow it down.
I haven't noticed this increased ram consumption with version 3 and I hope the final version of 4 addresses the issue.
That said though, LB4 is all around much faster than version 3 (searching, indexing, etc). Maybe more ram is the price we pay for speed?
