VLC is amazing. For me, the coolest features (for my needs) is that VLC ignores REGION info on DVDs and lets me view DVDs from anywhere in the world, regardless of region. And of course it plays just about any type of media file there is.

Superb media player - Nick Oakley

I'm sorry, I can't get it to play a DVD at all. Unexpected quits, arcane dialog boxes, and nobody at home. OSX10.3.3 TiPB 667
