schools just dont buy stuff! they need to get approved. thus you tell them 3 month before release that its coming so they can get funds approved and money allocated from there budgets. schools need lead time to get money! so  Angostura-3  need some leasons in sales skills!

Thanks for that eloquent comment. "schools just dont buy stuff! they need to get approved". Who would have thought it?

There are many places that schools or others can read read press releases about forthcoming products - I'm sure most district's account managers will be phoning them any day now with the brochure info. However Versiontracker is it at it's most useful when it gives users a chance to share their experience on shipping products.

Once you get hyped pre-releases posted, it dilutes some of this uniqueness. Before you know it we'll have OS X 10.4 posted as 'coming soon' and incorporating great new speech input capabilities.
