Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

While I agree with previous comments that this is a good first step toward a native OS X resource editor, it shouldn't be called anything but a development release, and the author shouldn't be charging anything for it right now.

Let's be clear here. I'm perfectly happy to shell out cash for a useful tool, but this one has a ways to go. The great majority of resource types I'd be likely to need to edit are graphical in nature. Having only textual resource templates just doesn't cut it when I'm trying to see how a window layout looks, for example.

Resourcerer is pricey and ResEdit requires Classic mode, but both provide full graphical editing. When ResFool can do that, I'll take another look. Then it's $20 pricetag would be a steal.
