as usual, but the Copyright Prompt when saving/downloading anything is a nuissance and intolerable. I know about copyright, I dont have to be told each and every time. Back to 1.7b. No probs with preferences here, btw.

Still Mr. Reliable--revisited - Bud Simrin

I just installed this Mozilla and downloaded some files and saved some web pages and pictures, and received NO copyrite reminders, so maybe that problem isn't universal or maybe it depends on some preference setting. I almost didn't try this version due to that report. However, I'm glad I did. Initially, it works fine.

hmm, I looked through the prefs, but didn't find a way to switch it off. I used the same profile (and therefore same prefs) in 1.7b & 1.7rc1 and tested the same websites, so there must be something different in 1.7rc1. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

This bug has been fixed in 1.7 RC2. It looked like a copyright issue but was really a download error prompt window (Mac users cannot see the title bar of this windows because Moz uses sheets coming instead of windows for error messages on the Mac).
