I take it, the developers didn't fix anything, in this version. Well, if you wanna play with the big boys "ie" Safari, Communicator & Internet Explorer. You better add a pop-up suppression. Hello!!! Safari, Communicator & others do it.

Uh, it does, and has done for a while :)

Go into the Preferences dialog, and from the JavaScript section select Filter. And then uncheck "open windows automatically" at the top.

For the majority of sites this is fine, but the odd one or two will stop opening windows even on request, so use the Filter Manager to re-enable the filter option for those sites and refresh the page to reapply the JS settings.
