One you get your contact list looking as you want it with colors and fonts and spacing and transparency and whatnot save a THEME of it in the advanced prefs. Then you can move it to multiple computers or have it as a backup. Heck, go crazy and save a different theme to match every one of your desktop pictures and/or OS X (ShapeShifter) themes.
