Autoprotect won't run after update

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

Had no issues with prior versions of NAV. Updated to 9.0.2 last night and restarted. After restart error message of NAV Autoprotect could not start shows at drive mount. The error message suggested reinstalling. Did that but did not solve the problem. Any one else with this issue or a workaround please chime in.   
System Info:G4 1.25ghz 10.3.3 1gig ram.

Autoprotect won't run after update - Ira L

This problem occurred in 9.0.1. Symantec posted a fix as follows:

Open Terminal from your Utilities folder. Type this text (watch the space after "touch")--

sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions

Enter your admin. password when asked and press Return.

Quit Terminal.

Restart your computer.

It worked for 9.0.1 with no difficulties.
