Despite your slightly abusive rant, bouncing to sender (even if an innocent victim) is important. The innocent you are defending IS BROADCASTING SPAM, and if it is unwittingly so he needs to know so he can STOP THE MALWARE. My sis had no idea she was being used until the bounces informed her.

Err.... think you may have missed the point here. Spam usually doesn't come from the sender it claims to - not even unwittingly. It comes from somewhere else entirely that's just using their address.
