No spaces in output file

Feedback Type:  Commentary

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

The application is simple to use, but when i tried to save the output file, it complained about spaces in the pathname. E-mail from the developer said that they simply don't allow spaces. Evidently it's too much trouble to support.

I am glad to see this program developed for the Mac, but it's too bad the developers disagree with Apple's interface guidelines that the user is in charge. I can live with interface shortcomings on a free product, but if I'm asked to pay for it... well, no.

Spaces in filenames are a bad idea anyway.

"Spaces in filenames are a bad idea anyway." From a command-line user's point of view only. Filenames that handle spaces are part of what makes the Mac Way so great! The computer should accommodate the user's needs, not the other way around.
