Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

My system is a DP 2Ghz G5 with the stock Radeon 9600 Pro AGP card. The updated ATI Displays says this is an "Unknown ATI Graphics" adapter and gives me zero options to configure. A giant step backwards IMHO.

My second video card is an ATI Radeon 7000 Mac Edition PCI card and it's recognized. I can set the OpenGL Overrides now on a per-application basis. The Radeon 7000 has two monitors. The Apple Studio Display on the DVI (via Dr. Bott) lets me access the 3D setting for the setup of the FSAA as noted. The analog port offers the Mac2TV setting. Both video ports allow ATI Displays to offer the Info, Multimedia, and Advanced options.

A mixed bag! I tried installing a second time with no difference in symptoms.

Radeon 9600 Pro is now Unknown ATI - Haenk

Well, the 9600 is a) not listed as supported card b) an OEM card (like all built-in cards by Apple). So that's 2 reasons why it isn't supposed to work...
