If you're getting that error message, it's almost certainly because your user account isn't a member of the adminstrative group "admin". Run /Applications/Utilities/NetInfo Manager.app, click on "groups" in the list, then click the "admin" group. Is your account name listed in the value for the 'users' property? If not, you need to add yourself to that group (e.g. if the value is "root", change it to "root, yourname").

Re: "Could not bind..." -

I experience the same problem running Henwen 2.1 on OS X 10.4.4 on Powerbook G4. If i run logged in as Root, Letterstick loads but if I log in using my UserID and Password that is a member of the Admin group i get the error. I have run NetInfoManager and my userid shows up as root, userid. My Userid is also showing correctly under System Preferences, Users and I have run Disk Utility to repair permissions. Nothing has resolved the issue.

I don't know what else to try next.

Thx
