Please learn to read the release notes. This isn't a driver update. It's a ATI Displays utility update. This won't fix the DVD bug. The 4.2 release is mainly for enabling 3D Overrides for the rest of the retail (not OEM) Radeon cards, a feature introduced in the 4.1 release for retail Radeon 9800 Pro owners.
