I am sure this is a reaction to the success of Quicksilver, but that's okay. As one reviewer mentioned, competition is indeed good. That being said, I still think Quicksilver comes out on top. The most obvious reason being price.
Launchbar is $20 US. Quicksilver is free. Launchbar is not open source, Quicksilver is. Now, at some point, Quicksilver may very well charge for their program, but I can't imagine the price would be any where near the $20 Launchbar charges.
Launchbar is a great app, but Quicksilver, in my estimation is the better value by far.
