that a16 still won't allow me to install Panther on my 300 MHz wallstreet running 10.2.8 - i get the old "Essentials cannot be installed on this computer...Your computer is not compatible with Mac OS X 10.3."
the good news - and i consider this really good news - is that making the attempt no longer results in my having to reinstall 10.2.x to get up and running again. i just zap the PRAM and restart the usual way and i'm good to go. ahhhhhh...
while the former is, of course, still a big disappointment, the latter is a huge relief, and makes me much less hesitant to try future versions.
Ryan et al, please keep at it - i really look forward to being able to use this.
the bad news is - gommino
You don't need XPostFacto to install Panther on a Wallstreet. See my post titled "Wallstreet" dated 3/7/2004 for instructions.Rob.
