Well, I've been using Poisoned for a while now, and while I agree this program looks the best, integrates with my Mac the best, searches the best and fastest, doesn't take a week to startup, and many other great features; it has an annoying habit of killing my mp3 downloads. I downloaded 23 versions of one particular song, all different bit rates, sizes and from different servers and each and every one of them was garbled after 12 seconds.
<p>
Oddly this doesn't seem to affect every mp3, and rarely any files except mp3s.
<p>
Apart from being stumped by this problem, Poisoned is always my first port of call for downloading. Only after (and if) it fails me, do I go to one of the inferior rivals.

DomCaz - many popular songs on P2P are now being sabotaged by record labels - they host several different copies on fast servers that appear to be high bitrate, complete MP3s, but actually only are the first 10-30 seconds followed by noise. Poisoned has nothing to do with them.Reply to This
