Good, but a couple of disappointments

Feedback Type:  Review

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

Recommend Product: YES

I like the program, but I do have a few disappointments:

1) My biggest gripe is that they don't include instructions or an automatic updater to make a bootable CD of 4.02 for owners of 4.01. Instead, they offer you to buy the updated CD for $25. As someone who actually pays for his software, I find it pretty insulting that they'd try to profit from simple updates. Makes it hard to blame those who don't own this legally. Luckily another user here has posted excellent instructions on how to make an updated CD for yourself.

2) Permormance. It should be faster and hopefully will be on future updates.

3) The optimization feature doesn't graphically display disk and file fragments in the detail that even Drive 10 does. May seem like a minor quibble, but when you are sitting around for that long, its nice to have the graph to glance at occasionally.

Good, but a couple of disappointments - Courtney

'Cept that it only makes inelegant coasters for me.

Micromat are categoric that it cannot be done.

Still, if you are short of inelegant coasters...

O course, I'd be pleased to hear from anyone who has succeeded, and how they did it.

I followed the instructions and it worked perfectly for me on the first try.
