Customized Terminal invocations?

Feedback Type:  Commentary

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Have Not Tried

Recommend Product: NO

I'd buy this product - or any other - if it could do what I've been doing with uwm/twm/fvwm for fifteen years:

I want a root-window (desktop context?) menu, or even one hung off of the Terminal icon in the dock, into which I can place entries to invoke Apple's Terminal with specified foreground//background colors. I know that the invocation part is possible, since TelnetLauncher can do it.

Customized Terminal invocations? - wgscott

You can save terminal sessions to do precisely this, and you can put them in the dock. Also, you might like iTerm, as you can save these as "bookmarks" and all you do is start a new tab in your current terminal window. This is what I use. I use this all the time every day and would have trouble living without it.
