Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Tried the demo to go from FM 6 to FM 7. All I got was a bunch of text and blank icon files on my desktop. Some appeared and then disappeared when I clicked on them.

Nothing made sense, tried to follow steps, but could not get it to do anything remotely like I thought it would make a FM 7 file out of my FM 6 related DB files.

i know it was a demo, but what was it demoing? It certainly did not give me even a demo version of a FM 7 file with even a small amount of stuff moved over.

tried. confused - David Simpson

This is good feedback, thanks for the info. I have listened to requests like this from other potential customers, and have changed the way the demo version works as of version 1.97. Starting with version 1.97 - the demo is fully functional for a limited number of fields within the database. This way you can get a chance to see how the whole process works. The new demo version is located here: www.fmpromigrator.com/downloads/demo_software
