I use this to batch convert 500 files at a time, and although I'm using only a small subset of formats, I've found this invaluable. I needed sd2 format also, and the developer responded within about 24 hours, and when I found a bug, it was fixed the same evening (sadly it was a while between initial release of the sd2 version and my noticing the bug - sorry). I appreciate the comments re. licensing, but for those of us that need to convert formats in a professional setting, this is a must-have. And the rapid response is worth it alone. If you NEED to batch convert, $10 or $30 isn't an issue..quality software and support IS.
