When installing, at the "Installation Type" stage there is a "Customize" button at the bottom of the installer window. Click it, and you will be presented with a list of everything about to be installed, indicated by checked check-boxes. Uncheck the scanners you don't have, then you won't be a goon like I was last time going in and hand removing them after they are installed. :) (Tom Myers: Sounds like a possible permissions issue.)
