Instead of creating the image files I requested using Mozilla1.7b and my news server and creating corrupted ones instead; I did a "Find" and found a whole bunch of Mozilla files one having 2.4mb relating to them having been created. I trashed them of course with no negative results as I am using Mozilla 1.7a and feel it is the best version of Mozilla to date.

Those files were, probably, were used to determone the correct permissions for Apple Disk Utility. Try if it still works...
