Plone2 installs perfectly.Thank-you! I think the lack of an installer on the Mac has held it back in the Mac community.

Plone2 and Zope are extremely powerful and extendable. Many huge sites run on one or the other.(NASA, Industrial Light and Magic, Google) Plone2 is a CMS built on top of Zope, and Zope is written in Python. Zope is an object-oriented application server with a built in database.

All these are open source and the community of users is large. The problem I have found is that you have to go to an enlightened server to get an install. Most don't know Plone or Zope from their b*tts.

All said and done, I have found Plone sites to be a bit slower than your average php site. I wish there was a compiler.
