The author certainly deserves credit for a quick response; having the ATM speak is a nice touch.

Here are some more suggestions: get a new icon (the current one is simply too plain --something more bank-like would be nice); allow the name of the bank to be personalized; password-protect the main part of the application so that exiting ATM mode isn't just a single click away; allow ATM mode to run in a window; improve the ATM interface (it shouldn't be necessary to use a combination of key presses and mouse clicks for everything-- either method should work); improve ATM functionality (allow children to see recent transactions and print statements).

For 1.5 or 2.0: inclusion of a custom logo or parents' photo; compound interest calculations; import and export of data; check printing; loans; graphs; capability to access a common data set from different machines, possibly using a web interface (so that kids can check balances etc from their own machines).

This software is not at all expensive, but in its present form it doesn't feel feature-complete enough to be classified as real shareware. Again, a great idea but only so-so in execution.
