Many thanks for your wonderful (first) feedback !
Os X's Java machine seems to behave in a real strange way.. It is not comfortable for me since I have no Mac to test. What I can say is that :
- all new start of the software should be equivalent... (so !?)
- here, on W2K 1.6Ghz Java 1.4.2, I process many times a 5Mp image without trouble, in 4 minutes, and using 170M of memory max.
Please can you check the Java version you have :
- open a Terminal (look in your Application folder)
- enter the command "java -version"
- you should get a version number, latest is 1.4.2 (see on the download page of my web site, you will find the link to upgrade from Apple..)
Hope this trouble can be easily fixed..

i am all up do date with the latest version of Java (1.4.2) some photos it works ok but others i keep getting that memory error. the photos (5mp) that do work take no more then 20-30 seconds to process, much faster time that you are getting but 10 seconds to me seems like an eternity :)Reply to This
