Adobe Acrobat 6.0 for OSX won't install

I have purchase Adobe Acrobat 6.0 for OSX and it won't install.
I have OSX 10.3.2 with an EMac G4 1 GHz and 512 RAM. I have tried the 6.0.1 update with no change.
The message says that it was unable to install and that I must quit, no other info..

I tried the software on another similiar EMac with OSX 10.2.2 and had no problem installing it. Can anyone give me any ideas. Apple support was no help and Adobe was at least a 30 minute wait on a long distance call.

I had the same problem. Repair your permissions. This fixed it for me.
