butt problem? NetBarrier 10.1 was working perfectly under 10.3 when I encountered problems requiring reinstall of the OS. After the reinstall, NetBarrier would not operate (except for filling my hard disk with 25 GB of temp_Buffer files, locking the puter up). Contacting the (n)ever pleasant Intego staff about why the reinstall of NetBarrier did not work, resulted in the following reply: "NetBarrier 10.1 will not work with Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther). In order to run NetBarrier with Mac OS X 10.3 you will need to upgrade to NetBarrier 10.3.2." When I responded that it was working perfectly prior to my OS reinstall, their updated story was: "NetBarrier 10.1 is not compatible with Mac OS X 10.3 Panther. NetBarrier 10.1 will not run PROPERLY (my emphasis) under Mac OS X 10.3 Panther." Well, it did work properly in my experience and while I like the program generally (minus having to uninstall and reinstall it periodically, the temp_buffer file problem, less than personable staff, price gouging upgrade policy, etc...) they don't seem like a company to trust. Is there a program with a similar feature set that another company offers?

File a bug report on the Intego Web Site. It may help things.

Yes: FirewalkX. Much neater than NetBarrier, and more powerful in some ways.
