When I clicked the download page today it still showed the the page which showed it compatible with OS 10.1 and up. So I downloaded it and installed the plugin.
When it didn't work I reloaded the download page and then the page looked different. (OS10.3 compatible, Commercial instead of Freeware). I guess it just caught me in between updates of the website.
Now I have the Version 2.0 and can't download the previous version v1.2.3, which worked for me under OS 10.2.8
The link for the previous versions in the drop-down list does just download the newest version.
On the developers website there is also no link to the old version.
What now?

That's why you're supposed to make regular backups...Also, you could try asking the author for the previous version.
