I've have been very pleased with my Wacom tablet and the drivers. I use the 4d mouse that came with my tablet as my only mouse. I've never had any problems at all.

I also griped about having to buy a new tablet when I moved to OSX. But I gave my old one to a very happy person who will be using it with an older mac.
