So, this program is listed as Freeware, yet also has a listed price of $49.95. Doesn't seem like freeware to me ;)

...further, I think the $49 is a CD(multiple?) and includes the installer (as mentioned regarding build).I have a free install that has a nice launcher but I am not sure where it came from. Anyway, you can go to the site and download for free.

Actually, GIMP IS free if you build it yourself, perhaps using Fink. That doesn't preclude commercial distributions like this one, who prepackage it along with whatever other goodies they're bundling (including support, one would think.)Reply to This
