you're saying this works "with 10.3.1." do you mean you're using xpostfacto on a machine that's already *running* 10.3.x??
what function does xpostfacto serve in that situation? why would someone run software whose purpose is to allow them to install 10.3 on a machine that's already running 10.3??

yes, you are confused. but i can explain what xpostfacto's purpose. most old macs can't run panther. maybe you haven't seen this happen. but if you try to install panther on a wallstreet, you will get an error and will be restricted to install panther. xpostfacto relieves this restriction so installation can continue. if you have a mac that can't install panther, use this. if you can install panther with any mac, without restriction leave this program alone.Reply to This
