Eyetv 400 removing scheduled programmes!

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Hi all, I'm the proud owner of an Eyetv 400 (firewire and DVB) and have to say that I'm totally amazed by the audio and video quaility of this product. I often forget I'm not watching a real TV!

Everything works great with 1.3.3 - however I'm having much weirdness with the epg tvtv.co.uk. For starters, on the tvtv website - I can only send programmes 'on air' which are 1 hours+ the time that I'm progamming the site. So I can't set anything to record that starts in 45 minutes.

The other problem (big) is that for some reason, when I have 'auto check' every hour, for some reason a programme that got downloaded from the site at 4pm that starts at 8pm - gets removed from eyetvs programme list at 7pm! So hour by hour, all my recordings are removed from the list an hour before they are due to start recording.

So apart from the remote recording (and perhaps I'm doing something wrong) I think this product is a real breakthough. I bought a Philips DVDR 890 last year - that's going in the bin now!

Cheers,

Jeff

Eyetv 400 removing scheduled programmes! - Bobbit

Hey Jeff. I get the very same problem, and I'm not sure what to do. My thoughts are; it's exactly an hour, so it might be a time-zone thing. tvtv are in Europe, one hour ahead of the UK. If Elgato or tvtv are reading this, please fix!
