I tried 4 times to download this update with Safari and it failed each time. Tried with IE (yuck), but it worked. Duplexing works too. Still very quirky though and multiple users cannot print (job hangs everytime). Overall, not a good experience. This will be my last HP printer I ever buy. My Epson Stylus 1280 works like a champ in every situation.

Bye bye HP. I waited too long for this update, which is still half baked.

Oh, I too had signed up for email notification and didn't receive one, fwiw.

Man I wish Apple still made their own branded printers. My LW8500 still works like it's new.
