I have used VPC since version 3. As long as Connectix provided support, the updates always warned the user to shut down any "saved states" before updating the application. This is the first update I've run since MicroSh*t took over and I anticipated that there would be a "shutdown warning" someplace after the unstuffing of the .sit file. I got distracted during the install and before I knew it, my WinXP drive was damaged and I can't "undo" the install.
As far as I'm concerned, this is a deliberate attempt by MicroSh*t to waste a perfectly good product. Thanks, Gates, your company continues to show how cutthroat it is reflect what a slimeball you are!!
Either support the product honestly or let someone who will!
