After having some problems with a barcode scanner, I decided I needed to uninstall the iMate software to see if it would work without the software.
I fired off an email to tech support outlining my problem, what I had tried to troubleshoot it, and how to uninstall their software.
2 days later, I get a lame-brained response saying that using a hub was a problem, and to uninstall the software.
Keep in mind that in my message to tech support, I told them that I had tried eliminating the hub from my setup, with no change, and had asked them for the procedure to remove their software.
Guess they can't read.
I am waiting another 2 days for a response to my second request for instructions on how to remove the software, that I asked for the first time around, that was apparently ignored.

Hey, you say you were able to uninstall it.... would you be able to post how you did this? I can't find any documentation anywhere saying how to do this.Thursday, February 14 2008 @ 12:00 AM PST

As a follow-up to my original posting:I still feel-like tech-support "brushed-off" my request and responded without really reading my message.
However, after removing the iMate software from my system, I am happy to say, the barcode scanner works perfectly, even on a hub.
