Hey Quark, first, I never got a chance to thank you for making my life a living H3LL. THANKS! As if the whole new registration/validation system isn't a PITA as it is, now after running the 6.1 update on 1 of our 30 or so fully licensed CPU's, it's saying I have exceeded the activation limit for my copy and reverted to DEMO mode. THIS IS A FULLY LICENSED COPY INSTALLED ON ONE MACHINE. Great, now I get a chance to see what a pain it is to talk to your "live" tech support.
Guess what Quark? I manage all 30 of these machines for an agency and while that's not a huge number of copies, I can guarantee you 2 things.
1. there will be absolutely NO new copies of your product purchased here, EVER.
2. for those users here still on version 4 or 5, we will NEVER upgrade.
I started the transition to InDesign here months ago and the users are in heaven. So far ZERO issues with our prepress/printing vendors either.
Later Quark. It's been fun. (well, not really - you SUCK)
