fabsgwu2: yes, you still need this with iPhoto 4.... nothing has changed.... apple still preserves all your backups taking up a lot of hard drive space when you do a lot of editing (possibly a good thing if you want to back up your originals)... according to the developer's site it is untested with iPhoto 4. hopefully it will be certified or updated soon.
