Why do people expect something for nothing?

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: YES

Unison is a new program. Panic is a company that makes excellent software and stand by it. They also provide excellent customer support. That being said, I will repeat- Unison is a new program. Before you write it off, give it a chance to be improved. I am posting this as I see a new version has been released and it addresses a number of issues.

People who complain about the price should be ignored. $25 is not a lot of money for fully functional software which, for better or worse, ultimately has no peer on the OS X platform. QuarkXPress is overpriced. $50 for a utliity like this would be pushing it, but $25 is not a lot for a polished product with active development.

*I do not work for Panic and I don't know anyone there. I'm a very happy owner of Transmit- by far the best FTP client on any platform.
