Does exactly what it says on the tin! When you've extracted the files from your Ipod, trash the com.apple.itunes.plist file in yourhomefolder/library/preferences so iTunes thinks it's the first time it's being run and it will search for your music and import it.

Ipod2Mac - Handle3

Well... it does and it doesn't!
Yes it shows me all my music files and allows me to download them from my iPod to my Mac. BUT only one folder of files at a time! And with almost 200 folders on my iPod that's a task I'm not looking forward to...
Now, if in the next version the 'select all' button would also apply to the folder column...
Oh, and while they're at it, how about complying with OSX Finder protocol to allow specific groups of items, be it folders or files, to be selected by clicking/selecting them with the Shift key pressed down?

If you trash that preferences file, it will erase all your preferences. All you have to do is go to iTunes -> File -> Import... and then choose the folder where all your music is
