- Panther Finder labels are not rsynced.
- I agree that it would be better to install it as /usr/bin/rsyncx instead of replacing Apple's rsync.

Thanks for trying RsyncX.Panther Finder labels are supported and synced using RsyncX - could you send an example of your problem to rsyncxdev@umich.edu?
Not sure why it's not noticed that the RsyncX binary cannot replace /usr/bin/rsync - which is *not* Apple's rsync. The default rsync comes from rsync.samba.org. The version of rsync included with RsyncX comes from www.opendarwin.org - a site that *is* maintained by Apple employees and external contributors.
