For whatever it's worth to anyone that's considering purchasing this program, here's a testimonial from a VERY satisfied customer. I've read some of the negative reviews and while I'm sorry for their displeasure, for me this product worked fantastically. My deal was this:

I was having issues with my 17inch PowerBook G4 and long story short, had to delete my entire iTunes library (as directed by an Apple tech at the Genius Bar in the Apple store). When I re-imported my music from my FireWire Hard Drive, of course all my personal music ratings and playlists were gone. While this may not be a big deal to some, I had over 14,000 songs in iTunes and had painstakingly rated at least 4000 of them (what can I say, I'm a freak for my music).

My iPod still had all the music rated and intact as I wanted it, since I had yet to re-sync it to iTunes. I posted a help question in the Apple discussions forum and was ultimately directed to this program by a level 3 user. Cris (the programmer) not only answered my email right away, but also enhanced the program to accommodate the rating information and emailed it to me within a day. We then set time for a chat meeting (he's based in Germany, after all) and he literally walked me through the entire process step by step. Everything worked perfectly.

Is $40 bucks a lot for this program? I don't know, some might say yes. However, and at the risk of sounding like a Visa commercial; "being able to retrieve ALL my info without a hitch... Priceless..."
